Neither Brother Palmer nor any of the other Mesoamerican advocates have examined the archaeology in the eastern (or Midwestern) U.S., other than very superficial looks as I've described on the blog. What about the radiocarbon dating in Mesoamerica? I don't think he finds that necessary to support his theory, or I think it would not...<br><br>It sure would be wonderful today if one of the brethren bore witness of what Joseph and Oliver taught, that the plates came from the same hill where Mormon fought and Moroni buried them.<br><br>I thought we lds believed God uses physical laws. I don't think many members think the plates magically appeared in that hill. And that's a long way for Moroni to sneak a tall stack of gold plates, with one half to two-thirds of them bound and sealed.
