Do you think it's assumed that since there's no mention of climate, weather, or any of the like, that the weather was awesome all the time? That it's always a nice temperature, no snow or rain, and somewhere tropical where you can eat coconuts. That's almost subconscious. From our vantage point, winters can be especially rough up north, but there is no mention of it that I can find. All mentioned weather related things that I can find/see have to deal with the coming of Christ, parables, and rain for growing food. Have you found any conclusions or evidences of regular seasons, or even just winter and summer? Just off the top of my head, I can't think of any sign of changing seasons other than finding some sort of periodicity in occurrence of the larger Lamanite/Nephite battles.
