long ago ideas

“When we are tired, we are attacked by ideas we conquered long ago." - Friedrich Nietzsche Long ago, Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery conquered false claims that the Book of Mormon was fiction or that it came through a stone in a hat. But these old claims have resurfaced in recent years. To conquer them again, we have to return to what Joseph and Oliver taught.

Moroni's America - Pocket Edition #4 on Amazon

The Pocket Edition is already at #4 on Amazon's Hot New Releases in Mormonism page:

In response to lots of requests, we released a condensed version of Moroni's America on July 4th. We're calling in the "Pocket Edition" because it's in the same small format as the Letter VII book. It's available in paperback and on Kindle.

The idea for the book was to present the basic overview and key point in a short, small and accessible format. We took out the footnotes and the detailed discussion to focus on what most people want to know.

We have more new stuff coming in the next few weeks. I can't wait!

  1. I just noticed also at Amazon is "Ghosts in the Times and Seasons" by Jonathan Neville, Paperback – May 26, 2016, which I don't recall you mentioning to us yet. This is not a pre-release edition, is it?

Also that link above to "Moroni's America: Pocket Edition" is only for the Kindle version. When I click on "See all formats and editions" on that page, for some reason it doesn't show the paperback edition. But here it is:

    THANX! :D

  2. We were going to release the Ghosts book but then I was invited to speak about it at a conference in September so we decided to wait until August to release it. It's more Church history, not directly related to Book of Mormon geography. Lots of great stuff, though.

  4. OK, I see. Where might we find out about the Sept conference - if it's open to the public? (And I'm guessing the edition to be released in August will be different than the one on Amazon now.) Thx.
